Hey all, long time since I've posted here. Always lurking though ^^.
For the last few months I've been working on an 3d environment piece based on a concept by John Liberto for University.
I worked pretty hard on this, learning new tools whilst working (ZBrush and UE4 for example) for example.
I learnt a ridiculous amount in a short time, but I have so much still to learn. I think I focused to much on the assets, rather than the environment if that makes sense?
Assets all look really good, nice work! The spec levels look pretty high on that brick wall in screenshot 8. I would look at the roughness maps etc again for it, as it does not sell a brick like material that well. Also the gaps between the bricks look pitch black adding in some concrete instead would look a lot better. Nice job on this!
