The Cursed Sailor (Beast)- Emre Ekmekci

Hey everyone, a little late in the game but I wanted to join since it's a very fun topic. So even if I don't make it until the deadline between work and stuff, it's still a good use of my time 
I just started today and did a rough block out. There will be hair and clothes on him as well.
A little bit of backstory: I thought the beast as a sailor. And the beauty is a beautiful but evil mermaid (as the traditional mermaids go). The sailor sees the mermaid and falls in love with her obsessively. And being aware of his obsession the mermaid toys with the sailor, causing his boat to crash to the rocks and leaving him there. So the sailor, still in love with the mermaid, starts living an amphibian life in the middle of the ocean half in his shipwreck and half in the water, seeking the mermaid. So he becomes this amphibian sea-creature but still keeps some of his human side, although it's slowly fading and he is fully becoming a creature. So no happy ending here I guess..
