Is there a way to use detail textures via masks ?
I have used detail texturing before on organic mesh's but I am stumped on how I can achieve the same effect on unique uv's / texture maps. There must be a way to do this. I want both the rust and concrete in the pic above to be more detailed as the player is very close to them in game. It's one mesh and I would like to keep it at one material as adding and extra material seems a bit of a waste if this can be done via masks.

I would just look up detail texture tutorials for UE3 and follow those steps, there are plenty out there.
