Aargh, how frustrating is it? I can't be the only one who have those wretched bad days where no matter how much effort you put you put into your art, drawing, modeling,etc...nothing good comes out...-_-
There are days where you will come satisfied with your work after a few hours of good concentration but others (like today in my case) where, even though, I'm pumped, full of energy and willpower, it's like I forgot everything about what I'm doing...
I've taken plenty of breaks already to try and solve this but damn, right now, it feels just like a hit and miss and it's not the first time this happens.
Anyone else been in my shoes?
Edit: Even, worse, I'm super concentrated into my work and feel like I'm on the right path toward my goal but whoops, after a moment, I realize it doesn't look at all how I imagined it and I'm up for a bunch of ''CTRL+Z'' to the last steps..

I will usually take a step back from whatever I'm working on and do some organizing. That seems to be the trick for me. Just anything to get the brain off the task at hand for a short time but still be productive.
Good luck! It totally sucks and you are definitely not alone.
;(
Try to not think :"omg, I've got this character to do, the face is all wrong, the boots are wrong omg...panic...everything looks shitty."
Thats the big picture, but break down the big problem into many smaller problems.
Is it technical ( the pencil needs sharpening, polyflow is wrong)? Is it artistic ( the proportions are off, arm posing is wrong etc..) ?
Back yourself up with some good references (hi-res plz) or polycount\pinterest tutorials (for the technical stuff) if you are not too sure how to tackle challenge.
You might want to rely on collegues or anyone why a fresh eye to help you out point out what is wrong.
That's what I usually to and it helps making those days a little bit less terrible..
Good luck
No more of those days where things aren't coming out correctly. I'm just not making them correctly.
