I'm working on textures for a Mauser c96 712 schnellfeuer Pistole that I modelled&baked a while ago.

And with some base materials (wood is just a placeholder atm.). I want to finish the receiver first and then I make the mag&grip
(all images are taken from substance painter, that's why there are so low res. SRY)

I messed around with brightness/contrast in PS for 10 seconds and it made a pretty significant difference
Also, I would try something like this for the wood since right now it looks too pristine
Keep at it, really interested to see how this turns out.
This means that some changes for the wood are not in my final beauty shots, but I think it looks ok.
It's time to move on and start something new.
Can't really say much, other than I'm curious how it looks in a first person view
