HELP! Need to make a 3d Model for my Grandfather

Hi guys,
I am a newbie at this, and I am not so good at computers. Plus, I am not even in 9th grade yet. lol..  My dad told me it would be a good idea to maybe ask for help on a forum.

I am trying to make my grandfather a special present for his birthday. He is going to be 100 in May, and he is having this big party.  My mom thought it might be really cool if I made him a 3d print of this rocking chair that has been in our family since before he was born. I guess it was his grandfathers or something.

Anyways, I have a really hard time with these programs (blender, maya, photoscan). I know what you guys do is really hard, and it takes a lot of time to learn it to do it good.

So I guess what I am trying to ask specifically... If I had three pictures of this chair (all with the same light) (taken in the same distance) (the front, the side of the chair, and the back of the chair). What would be the easiest way to make a 3d model out of that? (it doesn't have to be all super professional). It doesn't have to actually rock, just something that he can sit on his dresser.

What would be the easiest program to use to do something like this? I have photoshop, and illustrator and inkscape, but I am not sure exactly what to do with them.. The tutorials that I watch on youtube seem to be for projects that are much more complicated than this. Some people use blender, maya, or photo scan.

There has to be a way to do something like this that is kind of quick and easy right? (even if it doesnt look perfect).

Yeah, you're not going to get very far trying to make 3D models with 2D applications. You could try this http://www.123dapp.com/catch but you'd need way more than 3 pictures. Or you could learn a 3D program like Blender. I'd recommend Blender since it's free and there's no need to pay thousands of dollars to model 1 chair.

I'd also recommend Blender. I'd suggest you to go on Blender artist. com and seek for help there for anything regarding the software. Thogugh, If you had more pictures of that chair, I'm pretty sure you would be able to directly render it in 3D

What would be the easiest program to use to do something like this?

Sketchup and Fusion360. Other more traditional 3d programs would require about a month or two of self-learning in order to be able to use them decently, which will probably not fit into your schedule.

I'll second the suggestion for Sketchup. It's free and quick and easy to learn and use.

You'll probably want to learn something a bit more sophisticated moving forward, but for a project like this, it should be fine.
