I just completed this guy. I am having a hard time with the texture though. It is hard to get it looking right considering most of the gun is made of polymer. Too shiny and it looks like metal. Too matte and it looks like it is untextured. Critiques and advice are more than welcome!
I think it looks fine. You could town down the specular a bit. It may not be correct to the real gun, but in regards to you feeling like it is untextured: Make the rails a tiny bit darker to stick out, maybe darken the darker. Same thing with the magazine. Change the color a bit, maybe scratch it up more than the rest of the gun.
The main problem right now is that your polymer doesn't read like polymer. It reads more like painted metal. Polymer usually has this noise to it that tends to be the defining characteristic of it.
(this was the best ref I could find that illustrates this and my next point)
Another thing you should do is try to differentiate your materials. Right now they all read more or less the same and its giving the whole thing an extremely monotone look. Barrel (see ref above), that thing under the barrel you see in the ref, sights, safety etc. are all separate materials and you've done poorly in replicating that.
Last thing, don't worry about making it too matte or too shiny; worry about making it as close to the real thing as possible and than add details to give it interest. That part is up to you but personally, I would go all out with details on the gloss. Check this ref to see what type of details I'd go with:
They're subtle but add just enough interest to make the plastic look good.
