Study anatomy. Study anatomy. Study anatomy. Best advice you'll ever get to improve your sculpting. The tools in ZB are the easy part. Knowing your anatomy is vital.
Terminology isn't essential, but it does give artists a common language for critiques. So instead of saying "fix that bumpy bit about half way up" you can say "the inferior border of the nose bone is too wide". If the artist receiving the advice knows anatomy, this is a very clear crit.
@SHINIGAMI Yes, terminology is important. It helps giving and receiving detailed feedback on anatomy in an efficient way. On top of that, 'sternocleidomastoid muscle' sounds super cool in a conversation.
Maybe ZB5 will give us 'individual atom-sculpting' functionality, but for now you can stick to the important principals of artistic anatomy: The underlying skeleton - vital bony landmarks, muscle origin/insertions, overall proportions The muscles - muscle overlap, form, dynamic form Fat/Skin - how the coverage blends the muscles on the outer surface
After this, you could always delve in and study medical anatomy or quantum particles.
