Hey guys,
iam using 3ds max and i got some cables and hydraulic
hoses on my model. i want to know whats the best way to unwrap these. to
break it down they are long "cylinders" but my problem is when i unwarp
them straight with a cylindrial mapping method the uv is very long
because of the size of the cable.
it would be nice if you can tell me how you handle long tubes / cables or sth like this when it comes to unwrapping process.
