Founded in 2011, Amplitude Studios is an independent developer of video games specialized in the creation of strategy titles, with already three playable games: Endless Space, Endless Legend and Dungeon of the Endless. Based in Paris, our studio boasts an international team that has worked all over the world on highly successful franchises. To fulfill its ambitions to create the best strategy games, Amplitude has also launched the Games2Gether, a brand new way for players to participate actively in the creation of a video game and an innovative approach to co-development. Through this platform, Amplitude Studios is working hand in hand with players by sharing, discussing and comparing ideas, which brings the notion of community one step further.

Job Description

To help with both the creation of new content for its live games and the development of new strategy games, Amplitude is looking for a Senior 3D Artist demonstrating the skills and potential to become a Lead.
Under the supervision of the Art Director and Lead Artist, you would be in charge of modelling and texturing various elements of our games (characters, environments, assets, etc.), placed in different settings (Fantasy, Sci-Fi, etc.).

Candidate Profile

Required skills:

- 3+ years of experience in the video game industry
- Master 3DSMax, Photoshop and real time modelling techniques
- Demonstrate strong leadership, autonomy, attention to details and organizational skills
- Be a fabulous team-player, willing to mentor more junior artists
- Be creative!

Highly appreciated bonus skills :

- Master ZBrush and Substance Painter (or being intellectually curious and willing to discover them)
- Master high-poly and baking techniques
- Working knowledge of Unity, and strong interested in the technical side of graphical creation (data management / XML / shaders)
- VFX creation
- Interest for strategy games, Fantasy or Sci-Fi
- Working knowledge of French .
