Heya, as the previous Blender thread was locked, here's a new one. News of the week is that Blender 2.77 test build has been released at:

Among other things, Grease Pencil can now be sculpted and people have been doing more and more stuff with it.


For Blender Cloud subscribers, the library of rigged characters has been expanded to include characters from the the Cosmos Laundromat, Glass Half, Caminandes and the first open movie, Elephants Dream. For non-subscribers, here's a penguin:

that was a stuid move from their part. I don't care, they need to bring it back to the general talk forum X-(

The other thread was not just a tech and FAQ thread, it was also where we could talk about  updates and upcoming features of the software without having to make a new thread each time...

Techtalk is the forum for the blender thread, you'll note that all other software packages are discussed in techtalk, why should blender be any different?

Techtalks definition:
"Use this forum to ask technical questions about 2D/3D software, exporting, level editors etc. Post shaders and scripts here." Note - questions about 2D/3D software

General Discussion:
