So i have created a technique that allows you to instantly turn your simple colored mesh/ojbect  into an epic handpainted style in a matter of clicks! no crazy skill required see below, i am thinking about making a tutorial but not free   what do you suggest?

You definitely need to show more. Whether it be a video or flats or something. Because right now, no one has any idea what exactly it is you`re trying to show.

And if it's such a quick and easy technique, why should we pay to see it? Sure, some long complicated tutorial should cost money, but a "See this option? Click this button and voila!" should probably be something given. At least, for myself, I can't imagine paying for it.

@Pigart : to be fair, most if not all modern workflows regarding "haindpainted" texturing involve bakes coming from a sculpted model. This is what is being used on Wow, Lol, and pretty much every diffuse-only game with a big amount of content.

(Which also goes to show that there is nothing secret about that technique as it has been in widespread use for years now )

Oh, so it's a script or something? The way you described it, I think we all assumed it was some built in tool, that you were trying to sell as your own secret.

Edit: So are you selling a tool, a tutorial, or a technique? Or all three? It seems like you're being intentionally vague.

I did but its hard for people to give a recommendation when we still do not know what your going to sell. You will need to tell anyone you attempt to sell this to what it is. A script, brush , modeling whatever but something more then provided

IT evovles Masking techniques/ materials i have created  specialy for the technique and some basic polypainting techniques that is connected with the materials. all of them work as one to have final results, its  a lot faster hours faster than sit down and handpaint eveything

Seriously, dude, we're not talking about nuclear technology in World War II. If you're going to tell people how you made something, just tell them. If you want to keep it a secret, stop spamming a bunch of crap. If you want to sell it, make a tutorial or script and sell it on Gumroad or Cubebrush.

You can sell it if you want but I'd never buy anything without knowing how it worked. I'm not going to buy a black box and hope it fits into my workflow. If you genuinely think you have something good here then post about it once it is actually for sale and you have an explanation of how it works.

Polycount is a community of artists helping other artists, with most (if not all) information coming here for free. So I think your first mistake was trying to sell something here when the goal of most people here is to tear down secrets, not buy into it.

the whole thread is not made for attetion is made for PEOPLE  who dont have the skill to handpaint and if they like it or not and if the results for them are  satisfying, most of you came here like drama quens and all you do is how to ditch me, when was the last time u created a technique that could help other ppl?  GTFO

Ya, again, you need more information. What are you selling? A script? A material? Textures? You need a video to show workflow, and how it will help people. A before and after pic doesn't help. No one can know if it will fit into their work flow or not. Especially when it's only on a crystal. How does it work for other props? Characters? Environments? 

Also, and this goes for everyone, please be respectful or this thread will be closed.

  I didnt try to sell it, i wanted to see if the results would be satisfying for those who cant handpaint

Of course you are free to sell anything you want for whatever price you want. Just keep in mind that people will buy it (or not) based on the results, not on the title.

For anyone wondering what his dumb secret technique is, he paints on a low subdivision and then goes back up to the highest. Zbrush retains the sharpest  color on the vertex and fades it out, creates a fake highlight on edges.
