I think the model has to many traces from the "blockout" mesh the edges are not natural enough. When you look at the model you find alot straigth lines because the "destruction" is only one dimensional.

I think some of the places where edges meet are looking off, like where the spikes meet the main part of the maul, its just like a straight up intersection, either roughen up the corner of the spike where it meets or merge them together and work on the crease, depends on what you are aiming for.
A Ogre Warhammer is a "primitive" weapon. But you have sharp edges in the metal pieces. Yes you creased the edges but the edge stone <> metal is straigth like a blockout mesh. The "3mm" thick metal need a few big hits from the side for a deformation in all dimensions.
