Hello! My name is Michael and I am the co-founder and lead programmer at LCQ Studios. We have come together to make a motocross game featuring the amateur point of view rather than focusing on the pro ranks. We want to make this game bigger and better than the "Mx vs Atv" franchise. The other co-founder has an AAA title to his credit so he knows the professional side of the business. He is a very talented environment artist but he would rather focus on modeling stuff for that rather than motorcycles and parts. With me being a programmer I'm not very good at anything art wise.

Our game will feature a deep, emotional story mode that will keep the player wanting more, a single race mode,  as well as free ride and online multiplayer. We have hopes to get licensing from the top gear and bike manufacturers to make the game as realistic as possible. The game will be a mix between an arcade title and a simulation. The controls and physics feel great but will continue to improve, and the environments will look beautiful thanks to our professional environmental artist .We have a really fun , challenging game but we need you to bring it over the top.

We are looking for highly skilled modeler or two who are comfortable making complex, semi-replica pieces. However, this isn't a paying job. We are taking a risk spending hours upon hours creating this game for free, but there is a huge market for racing games and we already have a large backing for it. If and when we make money each developer working on the game will receive an even cut of the profit.
Applicants must be able to:
  • Communicate through Skype and/or teamspeak.
  • Create high quality, complex semi-replica models
  • Have a 3D package that exports to .FBX
  • Have enough time to get models done in a decent amount of time (I realize you have a life and I dont want you to give it up but I also need to have your pieces in a timely manner.)
  • The drive to help create a sick game.
  • Feel comfortable with a close collaboration with a team aiming to reach their goals.
If you are interested in this project and becoming a 3D modeler at LCQ Studios and would like more information, please don't hesitate to head over to http://lcqstudios.com and contact me. If you would like to just dive in please visit http://lcqstudios.com/index.php/apply/ to submit a pdf or a link to your portfolio.
Thanks for your time!
-Michael
