Hey gang,
So I'm having an issue on how to address this. I've tried more geo but it seems that I'll always come down to the same problem and thats supporting the inside edge of the boolean. As you'll see in my pictures if I support it vertically or horizontally I still get puckers along the base of my model. I've been spinning my wheels on this for a couple of days now and would really like to find an efficient solution so I can be more efficient moving forward.
Any suggestions on how to approach it?

if you gonna texture this thing with a lot of dirt you wont see it on the final asset...
if you have only a 2k normalmap you wont see it on the final asset...
if its still an issue on after texturing and a review ingame i would go back and think about it...

They went through this issue countless times...
I was getting to that point but it's becoming an issue of knowing how to at this point.
Obscura, this is what I was looking for. I guess my terminology has been off because I've searched the net for a similar object for guidance and this forum seems to cover my issue and a lot more. Thanks!
