The Beast : If I can't love her

Hi Guys~

This is the 1st time I'm participating for a cg contest, so I'm going to try my best!

I would like to share my idea, hopefully everything will flow smoothly~

Story 

The beast is basking his sorrow under the moonlight, 

Having self doubts on whether he had the courage to love her.

By his beasty outlook with a prince soul, he really want to have a special love with beauty.

So He's trying to dress himself as a prince as all the girls wish for, 

and try to impress beauty. But what if everything doesn't turn out the way he had hoped for?

Concept developement

I will stick to the classical romance and depressing vibe. 

Keeping the beast more like a human and make him more appealing to the audience 

and make them to fall in love with him.

This is just my visual develop for the Beast.

I'm figure out with few of the drawings, which one is suit to the Beast. 
So I'd chose the right corner of the drawing.

Once I'd decide the gesture, I'm try to draw a rough sketch again for the overall feel.

Reference

The direction that i've chosen to go with, which is, gypsy style and deer or bull look creature.

My secondary element is more into roses that represent the beauty.

Colour and mood will mostly be desaturated natural colour, just like the reference below.
Except the crimson roses (reference above)
what if this is a Beauty ~ 

Hopefully this time can proceed to the execution part~
