Final Submission.
Hello everybody. It is time for me to join the battle. I want to create some sort of cyborg, manufactured by ancient race.I will call him Snord-9X57 He will be occasionally activated by the beauty and will protect her from her enemies.
I outlined basic shape in Zbrush. Now working over his armor. Progress soon.

I had very hard time doing low poly, for this beast. But - mapping and baking stage was not a big issue. I think I am done with normal maps and, finally, went deep into Substance Painter 2. Hope I will be able to finish him in time)

I am sorry for being silent again) Was very busy this two weeks. But, deadline extension let me to recover a bit and polish things out.

Substance Painter 2.0 is awesome. It has never been so stable before.)
Snord-9X57 - ancient cybernetic warrior.Was created to be temple guardian. Was occasionally awaken by beautiful girl during her escape from alien agressors.
Snord detected her as native organic form and initiated defence protocol against aliens. Since then deep friendship began between girl and Snord AI.

Character polycount - 77782 triangles
4x4096 texture sets (head, chest, legs, weapons)
1x2048 texture set (postament)
Postament polycount - 976 triangles
Textured mainly in Substance Painter 2.0 with some help of Substance Designer and Photoshop.
Rendered in Marmoset toolbag 2.
