Solved: after a pc crash quixel 2.1.1 wont open

Hi.

My PC just had a crash while I was using the dynamask in quixel 2.1.1. Now quixel wont open. something runs for about 1sec as i see the blue loading wheel on my mouse then it disappears. no windows pop up nor any messages

Is there a fix for this?

I tried deleteing registry manually, tried uninstall/reinstall, still doesnt work

What I would recommend doing is running Photoshop as an administrator, closing it, and then reopening the Suite afterward. If this issue persists, delete your Photoshop preferences (after backing them up, of course) by holding CTRL+ALT+SHIFT when loading Photoshop. Failing that, attempt a reinstallation of the Suite and Photoshop.

ive been talking to people on the quixel live support on facebook and so far all attempts have failed. i even tried reinstalling both and running on admin and turning all firewall off

Did you upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7?

i was finally able to get it to work. what i did was attempt a system restore. I then got a error 0xc000021a. So then i did a force boot disable signature enforcement. Then i ran a sfc /scannow. now it works fine.
