So did a bit of atmosphere/pose/starting to design sketchin'. basic premise is that the beauty stole the beast's heart and went to be with gaston. Beast is magical so doesn't die but is left with a hole in his chest that never stops bleeding. Want the scene to have a almost simple statuesque feel to it so no crazy dynamics just the beast betrayed by the girl he loves standing there alone...



He's looking way bland atm but i'm going to spice him up and make him feel more beastly. any ideas/crits welcomed!

I love these concepts! Very nice work. I actually quite like it like this so I'm no help, haha, but it's already oozing with emotion! Will be keeping an eye on this one.

I really like pose A in row 2! It almost looks like the hole in his chest is in the shape of a rose, which is pretty sweet intentional or not. Definitely feels like elegance and loss to me. I think you could push the movement a bit too for extra drama!!

 yeh it was intentional although thinking it might be difficult to convey in 3d but i won't really know till i try
