The Beast - Lone Owl

There always has to be a first time , right ?

So this one will be my first take in a contest.

Lone Owl.

Survivor of a conflict Between human and Beasts that has destroyed most of his land and his kind, the lone owl now must wander the world looking for a more peaceful place where beasts like him could be in peace while maintaining the lasts of his lineage safe.

PS: sorry for the short story, I'm not much of a writer guy =P

Re did the blockout, since I lost the ztool ( or probably just forgot to save)

New design of the same Idea, still gonna add some stuff but gonna use modo for it

I was loving the slender and tall version from the drawing more than the sculpt but it's still working out great! The slender version has more of the introspective feeling that the samurai image holds to it. Seems much more dynamic in shape than the sculpt. Great idea!

thx for the feedback @yoji! yeah I get what you are saying, probably I'll tweak some more of the forms before proceding to refining everything and see what works out better

Little progress today ( busy day) gonna work harder on it tomorrow and hopefully get into detailling and I'll probably take some time to search techniques to do that better.

Hey Kamul!  I think the idea behind this guy is awesome, and I really like the way the head has come out.  

I would take a look at your cloth fold, especially on the sleeves.  The folds seem a little random, and are often similar in thickness/width.  This might not be the exact thing you're looking for, but some of these robes have nice baggy sleeves made of a thick fabric.  Hope this is helpful.  Keep up the good work!
