The Beast - Destruction

My Beast is the god of Destruction or some sort of demon like character.

This is the sketch that I am going off of for this contest:

I am still working on the story but so far this is how it goes:

• He has been destroying for hundreds/thousands of years.
• Gets tired of it and slowly falls in love with the beauty and elegance of items.
• Now faces the choice of quit destroying the beautiful items/creatures he now loves or keep being a god.

As far as his design goes, I am a big fan of parts of him tearing apart and glowing underneath, almost like an elemental of sorts. 

This is my first contest and I am super excited! And I would love feedback from everyone! Please be harsh!
