Hi guys,
This time I'm going to make some bizarre mix between the cutest animal in the world with the honorability of the samurais, creating the definitive Lord of the Beasts.
I'm in the block-out-process, so not to much to show, but just to start the thread
.
Good luck to all!!

plus this is how they sound..........https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPdaU9A-RqU ...... great for battle.
more please.
Playing with blockouts, shapes, etc... not happy with this so far...
I changed a bit the proportions and add some fingers on the feet. I think now is more agressive but his face still cute ( the body has a lot of work to do, so don't worry about the no-details ( sadly, the most of them will be hidden by the armor and the fur ). I started with a more-or-less proper helmet blockout to detail on Zbrush. Not too much, I know, but is what I have so far. Hope you like it
Time for bed !
Keep up the good work.
FANTASYMASTER, You're totally right, I fixed that for this time. Just almost-finish-placeholder, so could suffer modifications before the end. Thanks guys.
Time for sleep!
Cheers
Playing with proportions and some updates on the armor.
The general idea is about an ancient ritual armor ( the beauty ) that contains the furious beast.
I hope this week I'll finish the blockout.
Cheers!!
Not too much... but something at least. The fibers are a placeholder, just to see how it looks with them...
I made some major changes on the armor, hope on the right way...
I think the blockout for high-poly is done. Moving on the detailing ( not too much on fibers because I'm going to add much of it on the texture with substance painter-designer so I can save tones of time-work ) for the next...
Cheers!!
Personally I feel like the horns are a touch too large, and the fingers a little too long but other than that this guy rocks.
Soooooo freak'n ace.
Not too much for this time. Just an advanced concept for the mask, redo the face, proportions and definition on some parts ( also fixed the hands ) and changed the horns and add the fur again. Now he looks more agressive, like a Koala without much friends.
And that's for now guys... I hope you like it!
and yeah I am in the "big-bog " too. Feels like there is sooo much to do, it can really get overwhelming....but just keep swimming
really keen to see more of this guy.
Update before sleep... The details on the fabric are a placeholder, holding in mind that in substance painter I will add all this information without carrying out all the size required for that on highpoly, cos my computer is going to explode right now...
Hope you like it guys!
Otherwise looking sweet man ! Nice detailing and materiality sculpting.
PS: maybe the horns could use some detail as they feel quite simple, maybe a scratch or smth here and there ?
Good luck , looking forward to seeing it textured.
Vick.
Good night guys!
That will be the last high-poly-render, I promise.
Huge fan of Koalas too!
Nice koala!
