The Beast - Noble Prince - (mechanicalhalo)
Hi All,
For my interpretation, I imagined the beast would retain the qualities that fits the classic story. He would have to be strong to defend himself and to protect. Tall to invoke fear. Prideful because he was/is a prince. Face would be expressive (as his main method to break the curse relies on dialogue/body expression). Boldness to be iconic and memorable.
A few sketches to get the idea and visual cues before blocking out in 3d. I thought of animals that would embody the above qualities. I think once the head is decided upon the body mass usually follows easily. The costume will be more towards time piece of nobility.
