thats pretty damn cool, I think you should try doing the wrapping on the grip a different way, sculpting it or layering it more, it just doesnt look tatty and messy like the concept.

For sure! Lots of trial and 99% error brought me to here :V
Baked out :V , and brought it into ddo. Not happy with the materials, and trying to capture the damage that the concept art showed more than the in game model. Open to suggestions!
I have not tried the new Quixel Suite since the update, but if you are unhappy with the results you may want to try Substance Painter, as the materials are more flexible.
So these are final shots. Any crits for a young padawan? :V Finshing up my semester and wont have time to revisit it for a few more weeks but i def wanna retexture it so it looks better >____> Quixel crashes have a way of eating your time

I dig it. Has it's crash issues like any other program. But it's really useful and appreciate how much quicker it gives me materials than doing it by hand with photorefs like i usually do ;________________; CRASH ALL YOU WANT BRUH, i can't bitch when it cuts out so much work.
This looks great! The only thing I'd change is the colour of the flammable liquid canister to be red. You could up the contrast across the whole piece and add some more detail on the smaller canister and dial to better match the reference. You're in a really good place with it though!
Looks good, I agree with griffiti that the canister could be more red, I get that it's supposed to look like it's sun bleached but it just blends in too much. There is also a normal issue at the point of the blade that ruins it a bit.

Got my wraps figured out ;^;
