Slothopus

So I've decided to do a new take on Sloth from the classic movie The Goonies.  My idea is that Sloth was abducted by a rogue group of genetic scientist which in turn experimented with him and further horrifying his figure by making him part octopus with perhaps hints of other sea life(TBD).  I want to keep this piece light hearted, while still being able to establish some eerie horrific elements.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to tackle this.  To start with a Tpose sculpt or sculpt him in his pose(to save time from having to rig).

I personally like working without symmetry at a certain point. Once I have the proportions I like roughed in, I'll save as, pose, then refine. Then, what I tend to do is get sick of it, abandon it, and just watch TV instead.

Thanks PixelGorilla I think that probably makes the most sense symmetry and then pose.  I'd have to say we share some things in common, as I also tend to abandon things for TV.
