The Beast - The Guardian corrupted by man

Hey guys so the basic concept for my beast will be the guardian of the earth, think Groot (Gaurdians of the Galaxy) or Grover/Sylvanus (Smite). In my rendition of an old story, the earth is no longer beautiful, corrupted by the plague that is mankind, the guardian has also become corrupted, not through pollution but through hatred and despair.
I have concepts for this model, I however have not figured out how to post them, so for now you imaginations will have to do
