The Beast - Thorn

Yeah I know roses don't have thorns but 'Prickle' wouldn't bare the same variety of menacing.
So, this Beauty obsessed fella will be horrifically disfigured with plant life growing through him.  An open chest cavity exposing a large Heart, crushed by prickly rose branches feeding a single dying flower.  For the rest of the character I'm looking at taking the horrific look of the Witcher's Leshen or America's Wendigo mixed with the hulking Mass of the Swamp Thing. 

I'm still toying with the initial concept but here's my mood board so far:
