Ner - The Stone Beast.

Hi all, here's my entry for the contest. I wanted to create an epic story with an epic hero and some mythical background so here it goes.

"Once a mighty and dreadful warrior, Ner has been cursed and encased in stone. Below the ancient temple in the desert cliffs he slept and waited for revenge. Wind dried his skin, sun burnt his shut eyes, chains held him to the ground... But now he's awakened, a stone beast is born and rages over sands. He roams the desert in search for his foes. His wrath shall crush them..."

6 or 9 for me.

I like that one arm is larger than the other for Melee/Balance/Defense. While the left arm can be used to freely swing his rock mace.

I'm not sure at this point, from your sketches, if the (6-humanoid) or the (9-beast) one would make a bigger emotional impact.

8 or 9 ... I kind of like the 9 for the asymmetry of the character.

So here is a bit of an update for my Ner character thread. I've desided I'll go with the asymmetric character, I think it will give him much more dynamic and let me achieve a more agressive look. Lots of work ahead, but it's fun so here it is anyways. Thanks for your comments
