Hi everyone! I'm also joining the party 
my first 3D challenge ever!
I'm not a concept artist at all, so i decided to make a mashup between two concepts i found on Artstation, with some retakes:

Started to block out this fella. Trying to find good shapes and posing.
I gathered more references for the half-human/half-beast anatomy mix, especially shots of the lycans from "The Order 1886"

My progress on the sculpt so far
@Luxxo: haven't thought about colors yet. I think I'm going to spend one more week into the sculpting process before dropping some colors on this fella.
No real improvements since my last post.
ATM, I'm not quite happy with the straps on the head, so i'm considering redoing them with another method.
I did a quick polypaint pass. Always feeling like i'm ruining the sculpt when jumping into colors, so i need to iterate more on it and try other color schemes
I think i'm done with the highpoly. Time to jump into retopo and baking.
Not the sexiest update but i'm done with the retopo. It's straight out of Topogun, so I'm going to take some extra time to make optimization and correct crooked edge loops. It's around 30k tri for now.

I personally don't like how his toes are bent, just looks too unnatural/illogical for me.
But i should have been looking at more references you're right, because it's not really bent like this. I'll try to correct this on my lowpoly model a little bit. 10 days left to make the final corrections
