Hi! I started new environment. This environment is inspired by Witcher and Skyrim and it will be sat at the peak of the mountain. Here are some references I use
Good work on the stone wall! The boulder wall just looked way to unnatural when it went all the way around. Solid update! I'm looking forward to seeing how you dress up the scene some more!
Almost finished this scene. Will make some more props (tower in background, flag, shield, texture roof) and make decent lighting and post process (lighting is very rough now).
Hey, the visuals of this scene are pretty good. There are some overly glossy objects like the piles of wood with snow on them. Snow overall is not that glossy unless it's started to melt on certain parts. The layout of the scene/level is good. Not too overcrowded with pointless assets.
But, big thing here I notice is the scale discrepancy. Scales here are a bit off on some assets like the shield, which are way to big in accordance the rest of the scene. And even those piles of firewood are too wide. My advice is whenever you're modeling is always to have a human reference near the asset you're currently modelling. It will help you get the full sense of scale. So watch out for that in your future projects.
I'd agree with @EpicBeardMan on the scaling, it feels odd and nothing seems to be to a definitive scale, either stylized or otherwise. I'd suggest putting in the stock mannequin model to have a human sized scale to work off of.
The chimney for the small open hut is also far too flat/low poly for the texture that suggests nice round and bumpy stones being used. I'd either re-texture it as smoothly cut stone or remodel it to look a lot more natural.
Actually while modelling blockout I used human scale figures a lot (you can see it in the beginning of this thread). Shield is supposed to be this big (although it could be a little smaller). The wooden pieces don't use unique textures and don't have highpoly version, I think I could use highpoly bake though. I'll watch out for that in future projects, though. Thanks for your input!

Subbed, I saw your last enviro, this will be amazing!
Chaged stone texture, made adjustments to floor material. Also finished wall highpoly piece, doing retopo now.
Andrew worked on lighting and post proc, final screenshots below:
Btw, I already recorded a video, but I still need to finish editing. I will post result soon to wrap up this thread. Thanks for watching!
