Coming Home, a Beast (WIP)

This will be my third time attempting to submit something for the allegorithmic competions. I hope this time I'll get around to it and finish in time.

I'm very excited about my idea thus far, and I feel that it really resonates with me and the theme.

Without revealing too much (for now), and while I still refine the concept. My submission will be about a beast who wishes to return to his home.

While his appearance might be frightening to say the least, there is someone very innocent and lost, someone who has suffered a great loss, hidden within the transformation.

A couple of sketches to get my initial concept and ideas flowing. This first one might seem random and out of place, although it is relavent to some backstory!

This second one is much more related to the actual piece I'm planning on producing. Still a very rough and notional idea.
