Hi all,

I m new user of Substance Painter, and I've an issuie :

When I bake Normal / id /Curvature / World space, it's ok, I bake in 20-30 minutes.
But when I try to bake Thickness it's veryyyy long ( 6-7 hours !!!! ?? )

It's normal ? :open_mouth:

Thanks

This is far from normal! SP should bake all maps in minutes at the most.

must be an error with your mesh/uvs

It's a weapon props, and i baked 2 times without problem ( long time, but baking ok )

I just changed one edge on my low poly, I back in Substance, same settings, same baking, and 6 hours + for backing thickness ( others map are ok, juste thickness....)

The normal, ID, curvature etc. should not take more than a few minute after the initial loading of the high poly mesh.

AO and thickness are more costly but should not exceed 10 min maximum. Can you take a screenshot of the AO/Thickness baking settings?
