I cant find any information about this. I need to export an object with 2-3 animations, and they have to be separated and not in one timeline.
It is for a Unity game. I know you can export an object with all animations, and cut them in Unity. But I need them separated from the start.

I don't think it's possible with 3dsmax or Maya: https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Engine/Content/FBX/Animations/index.html see under Individual Animations.

You just need to export a few different ranges of animation? Of course it's possible in 3dsmax. Every animation export or save function has a range setting on it. Don't get me wrong 3dsmax has its faults, but this isn't one of them. There is a differance between "I don't know how to do it in 3dsmax" and "3dsmax lacks a basic feature", heh. /shrug

What kind of rig are you using? custom rig, Biped, CAT ect...?
What kind of animation does the rig load/save? fbx, bip, bvh, xml?
How are you working? Are you working on all of the animations in a time line? Or are you working on them individually?
What are you saving/exporting to? fbx, xml, bip, bvh?
Are you trying to script something that exports ranges of animations?
