I definitely agree with GED about this piece being too contrasted. I feel like the lighting/colour values are all far too high in intensity... so my eyes find it quite uncomfortable to look at right now. Ideally I would say the biggest issue is that moon, the moon in the background is drawing more attention from my eyes than your actual environment is. Drop the intensity of it so it doesn't conflict with the centre piece of your environment.
Either way, this does look nice and has loads of potential in it already, keep polishing!
In terms of the video, I'd say it's a little odd that the sakura particles/trees etc are static and the water has motion... I guess it's your call to decide which you want more? a static shot or a environment with full motion because you're caught somewhere in between right now.
This is because I modelled this scene for challenge (static shot). If I made this environment for video/gameplay I'd made true particles for sure. Maybe best solution was remove sakura leaves for video at all.
