I've attached the pop up error message I get when I try to do anything with masks in 3do. All I wanted to do is mask a material, it let me do it once for about half an hour then this message popped up again. I'm just trying to do some work over the weekend and this has completely stopped me doing anything.

photoshop CS5 and a trial of the latest CC.

While I got you here I want to add an ID map after I've created a project, Surely that can't be impossible but I can't work that out either.

    Hey Tadpole!

    Please try these steps:

Close Photoshop if it's currently open.
Right-click on Photoshop, choose run as administrator.
    Close Photoshop.
Run the Suite, and see if this issue persists.

Adding an ID map via reimporting or doing anything with IDs via reimporting right now is not functioning correctly. It's on the list of things to fix, but there's a workaround!

Create a custom mask in Photoshop:

Select the color you'd like to mask with, using the Magic Wand in Photoshop.
Create a new layer, fill that with white.
CTRL+A, CTRL+C to select all and copy.
Open DynaMask for the layer or group you'd like to mask, set it to black.
Click Paint Mask in Photoshop - the paintbrush icon directly above Accept Mask.
DynaMask will transfer to Photoshop - CTRL+SHIFT+V to paste in place, so your mask stays where it was created.
Click Accept Mask, and repeat as needed.
