Need Help modelling inside reciver

Hi everyone i am making this gun ,i was going pretty good but stuck at Safety handle part , when we fire this gun 
safety handle comes back and forth and there is a cylinder inside which comes along it , my question is should i model inside the receiver ? As if cylinder comes back it shouldn't be transparent hollow inside which will look bad.

If the model is meant to be animated, then yes you should model the internal parts. But only as much as you would actually see during the weapon animations. The never-seen parts of the interior would be a waste of vertices, potentially causing longer load times and wasting memory.

Yes, definitely model it. Just use half a cylinder with flipped faces positioned inside to create the illusion.
