Hi,
i have made a modifed version of Blender able to create a Dota asset in one click. You just select your high poly and a script will bake all your maps, save them, load them, setup a lighting, create a greyscale from your bakes and switch to painting mode once it's finished. It will generate your low poly at your desired polycount, unfold half of the mesh if it is in the X axis to optimize the texel density.
I have also added tons of new features like new sculpting and painting brushes, generate cage, check UVs, and +20 gradients to texture your Dota assets.
The tool is so easy to use that you don't need any knowledge of Blender or in 3D in general. You don't need to know what is face topology, UV Mapping, map baking, retopology, shading, rendering, multiply, overlay just focus on the artistic part: the sculpting and the painting.
