Just curious, what do you guys plan on building your games in?
Would any of you be interested in trying out our platform? It's currently for iPad only, but it's a pretty powerful 2D game creation platform that has a pretty unique behaviour system. But it's pretty great for game jams, and rapid prototyping.
You can see our site here: http://www.hyperpad.com, happy to give out free promo codes for anyone who is interested in trying it out (we're looking for feedback in return ) Also have a beta that we're just ready to submit to Apple, includes some really nice features. Let me know if you want to try it out.
Here's our game. I'd some 3D art and animations, and half the digital paintings. The rest of my work was teaching one of the helpers how to use different software and guiding the other artist on making his paintings look similar to mine.
The game is a music game which was supposed to have 3 stages but we only had time for one, each stage was supposed to be introduced with an image telling the process of the ritual. I didn't have too much time cause i was helping others so they were all pretty quickly made.
The controls are you point the analog stick in the direction of the tribes guy, and hi the corresponding controller button.

Our weird social/tabletop game thing Toil and Trouble (One of 5 games with the same name in this years jam) seemed to go down quite well.

If you want people to playtest your game, I can recommend drawing an enormous pentagram in a public area and handing out cultist hoods.

We were basically 3 people pumping out assets and one programmer.
Always surprised on how much you can actually do within 48h
