I need to start working on something for my game show-reel. I have all the skills but need to show it through my new show-reel which would be only for games.

Look up concept art, find some that you like. And model it. 
What specifically are you trying to learn, or accomplish?

I am trying to get into gaming industry & was said to start from hard surface modeling but I want to learn character modeling.
