Hey guys,
I have a tricky model that keeps returning me "Missing UVs" errors on import into Mudbox 2014. To try and resolve the problem I have been creating just the missing UVs in Mudbox then exporting out to 3ds Max where I relax, pack them down and re-export. Trouble is that although I've done this 4-5 times I am still getting the error. There is a decrease in the number of missing UVs that Mudbox is finding but it never goes down to zero. Got any tips?

To the best of my knowledge all of those parts have been resolved using the Overlapping/Inverted Faces detection mode in the 3DS Max UV editor. The only chance is the UVs towards the tip of the branch being a bit too small. I tried reimporting the Mudbox corrected mesh without packing everything in 3ds max and it seems to have worked. I guess whatever the UVs are layed out there are a couple spots where things are too squashed together.
