Hey everyone. Thanks for checking this post. To make a long story short, I have an assignment I need to complete by the weekend in 3ds Max, but I only have experience with animating in Maya.

I figure working in Max, won't be too hard, but for the sake of time, I wanted to reach out to the community and ask how to do certain things as they pertain to my workflow.

I will google search and play around in max to eventually find out how to do a few of these things on my own, but if anyone here knows how to do any of these things, you'd be a huge help. Thanks.

Things I wish to know:

- create/set project

- autosave/incremental save

- scale/rotate/translate hotkeys

- key all hotkey

- change playback speed from 24fps to 30

- insert image plane

-- insert image/video into image plane to view reference within viewport

- is there a grease pencil tool?

- open new viewport / tear off copy of viewport to have multiple views of animation

- playblast animation

- open playblast settings

- open graph editor

- insert single key on highlighted graph within graph editor
