So I still have a lot of work to do (especially on the green guy) but thought I'd keep this thread alive and post a WIP. I was using a different rig for the green character until yesterday when I decided to totally replace him. A few more lunchtimes and I should be at a better place
Looking cool Adam, pacing feels a bit even but poses are reading well. One note on the green guy is that he feels locked to center frame, maybe he could land slightly to the left or right to add a bit more variety. Looking forward to the updates.
Haven't had too much time to work on it since my last update but here it is so far. A few more lunchtimes and I should be good to start adding effects and whatnot.
Hi, I would like to join this competition. I am struggling to find any rigs that are polished for animation. Which one are you using there? Since I am migrating from Maya I wonder what version do they need to be? 2.74 I presume? Or are you using blender versions in which rigs that you animate in are made? Tnx in advance for the answers
Tnx There are not many for Blender? Most are for Maya. Earlier versions of Blender. That makes me wonder about using blender instead of Maya. Anyways, I've started some drawings. Might be able to finish blocking today. Hope this thread stays open On unrelated note, my e-mail on this site is still not confirmed. Hope they solve the bug.
we can start a new one, it looks like. I should be able to start participating soon. Im moving closer to work in the next month or 2, so my commute will go from 2 hours each way to 20 minutes. lots of extra time to animate!
