Does the dDo material manager plugin (found in the swatches folder) also work with 3ds max or is there a 3ds max script for it as well? The one included only refers to Maya. Thanks
Hey there Davaze! Quixel have moved to a new tool we've had in development for some time, Quixel Colors. This tool is multi-platform and currently works on Maya, and 3Ds Max (2014 Extension 1 or Higher). In the readme you'll find the instructions on how to get started - if you need anything else let me know! http://quixel.se/hub/colors/QuixelColorsv1-0.zip
Thanks for your quick reply :-) I was not aware of that one. Thanks! Is there a way to make it stay inside the utilities tab of 3dsmax or you always have to re-run the script?

Hi Davaze, open up notepad now copy and paste this following text (below). Save it, rename the file to MaxRun.ms and move to the startup scripts folder inside 3D Max Program folder or ENU folder (it is a gidden folder), see my location to help find your one(C:\Users\benji\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2016 - 64bit\ENU\scripts\startup) . Now start 3D Max up, under the Customize Interface look for Quixel in the menu options where you choose a script to add to a custom menu. Done, hope it comes in use...
I'll talk with Sythen and look into getting something similar to Brain's awesome script up there integrated into the Suite installer. No need for stickying!

Cool I did not know this as well, and was rather sad to see yet another nice tool for Maya only again this should be a sticky so it does not get lost.
