Kunkka's stolen mermaid blade

Hey, you all! I've been a long time lurker, and I actually started making a set about a year ago, but never got to finish it (although I intend to, sometime).
So it's 2016 and I thought I'd give the workshop a shot again. Might as well try to do something more easily achievable this time, and this is what I've come up with. I was hoping I'd get some feedback.
The main idea would be, as the title says, a 'stolen' blade from a mermaid. My main issue is that I have several paths to branch out to and can't figure out which one would suit best.
