In-progress: Quixel Suite is't working

When i click the icon, the program runs for a few seconds and resets. What's wrong with the program?

Ps CC 2014 + Quixel 2.0.4b
CPU - 2*xeon E5 2650
GPU- msi GTX580 1.5Gb
RAM- DDR3 128Gb

That's quite a bit of RAM! I am concerned about the card, however, as the Suite requires a GTX 600 series or better as its minimum requirements. I'm not sure if the 580 is the root of this issue.

Was this a fresh installation of the Suite - as in, you installed it for the first time? Or was it upgraded from another version? Have you installed Quixel software in the past?

Not sure if it helps but my Suite 2.04 is running fine with a GTX460SE card.

Program work correctly in the morning but after rebooting the PC, stopped running.
When the program came out, I put the first version (2.0). After that I upgraded to 2.0.1. etc . Updates are not installed automatically, that's why, I downloaded from the official site install and put on top of the hand set. Everything worked fine for a while, then stopped run. (Any errors it was)

Hey there BMWVED, SVCHost is a standard windows task! It runs by default in multiple instances.

I mean the process is finished after 2sec. Something wrong when program is loading. Or is blocked...

I have the same problem. I had a crash with BSOD while using Quixel Suite 2.0.3. After restart it never worked again. I uninstalled Quixel, cleaned the registry and the folders from the Users location, restarted the PC, reinstalled Quixel Suite 2.0.4b and still doesn`t start. I`m on win 7, Photoshop CS5, Intel 3930K, 64GB ram, nVidia Titan 6GB, a very stable system, never had any problems. Now, I simply can`t make it work again. I definitely don`t want to reinstall windows just for this. It`ll be simply too much. I would really appreciate some help and guidance what should I do. I love the new Suite 2, but somehow it behaves very weird. I managed to manually start nDO2 from the installation folder with double click on NDO.exe. Double click on DDO.exe and a message window pops up telling me to start DDO from the Suite icons. I also can start 3DO with double click on 3DO.exe. Double click on SUITE.exe doesn`t do anything, except that I noticed in in task manager it starts and after a second it shuts down.

That is indeed unfortunate, Mark. :frowning: Have you tried running the Suite as an administrator?

Yes, but nothing happens. It`s the most weird behavior I have ever seen. I`ve done a clean uninstall, cleaned the registry, shut down the PC, 5 minutes later start PC, reinstall Quixel Suite and still nothing. Where should I look, are there some configs left somewhere on the disk?

This is definitely something that I think the Quixel Live Support group would be perfect for. If you re-post it there, you can get the attention of the developers directly. Teddy is the man you'll want to tag for this issue.
