Question: Reference organizing program

I gotta question about the program I saw a while before and I forgot the name of it.
It's basicaly a program where you set and organize lika a reference sheet on your desktop. I can't remember the name of it.
If any of you know the name of the program, or if there are any similar programs like the one I described, I would like to know.
