I just finished my Tavern in Unity 5 and I want some feedback. I created this scene to try the new version of Quixel (the 2.0). This is the first time I made a " Medieval " scene so be rude I will fix the probs on my next project.
I was inspired by The Witcher 3
And here's the video of my scene rendered with Unity 5
This came out really awesome! Love the video of the scene as well.
What you could do is make the scene a bit more contrasting, everything is now in the same color range and that makes the scene look quiet dull and flat. You can see in the first screenshot of the witcher that there is a lot more color in the scene, this really helps to define the materials too.
Aye, I'd agree with @Luxap take a look at your references and you'll see more variation in light source and lighting levels. Otherwise good job with the modelling, texturing, and layout!
Your assets are looking great, but as already said the lighting is not at the same level. Try using a bluish white as main light and add the orange/redish colors through pointlights in the right spots (that's also the way it's done in the concept you have posted). Other than that really great work!
Generally quite a bit better! But There's still too much light overall. I'm a fan of large light falloff don't mistake, but the whole scene still feels a bit too brightly lit, without enough shadows.

Lets see more work!
