Flash VFX - Is there any market for this?

Good afternoon and happy holidays!

As usual, I spent a couple of hours seeing some different and crazy stuff on D.A. I saw something that really draw my attention, Flash FX animation pretty clean and beautiful, see the example bellow:

VFX Market is not huge as modeling, animating, compositing, coding etc, and that made me think if the Flash VFX market is worth it or not. I don`t see many people having demo reels targeting this and companies looking for people to fill this type of position. Any of you guys have experience or know something about this area? (Companies, more artists, where the studios are located and so on).

There is a huge market for this.  If its a 2D game or a 2.5D game you can directly translate the flash animation into cards that can be used.  It would also be very easy to use something like this for a stylized 3D game.  The industry is begging for more VFX artists right now.

Important difference between a "big" market and a saturated market. I imagine there is high demand for something like this.

If you render it out sprite based, suddenly pretty much every engine ever can use it

Card model you mean to use the 2D FX in a 3D environment? I think League of Legends use this kind of system.

AS someone stated if you turn this into spritesheets it can be used in 2d games as well as 2.5 d. I have been banging my head creating fx work in photoshop and this blows me away.
