Current Nvidia Driver Issues

Hi,

I just want to know if anyone else got issues with the current Nvidia Drivers, too?

The last working driver for me was 355.98 (currrently installed) - every later built:

- > leads to runtime errors during the installation (you can install, but get error messages)

- >  windows explorer crashes on right clicking a file (shell extension issues)

uninstall all your graphics driver history with this then reinstall and you should be fine

Are you getting the "windows update failure. reverting changes" ?

No, it's a "microsoft visual c++ red." runtime error message at the end of the installation.

How is that different from doing a 'clean install' with geforce experience?

I'm getting the runtime errors too.

Windows stores previous drivers and even if you uninstall they'll still remain and be used. Sometimes this history will interfere with current drivers. More than likely doing this will resolve all your issues, if it doesn't the issue likely isn't your driver software.

It requires you go into safe mode and after the uninstall process you'll see what the difference is. 

Things will look ugly and low color and you won't be able to up the resolution to 1080p, things won't work the same again until you reinstall the drivers. It will be like you first got the graphics card.
