Also I kicked the project off with a quick sculpt just because. I didn't finish anything here its just to feel things out, and in the end I decided to go with a different body type (taller and lankier and thinner than this), and a different face (higher cheekbones, etc.)
And finally this was a quick couple hour sketch of the leopard'esque beast at her side. A lot of work to do on this, just like everything else.

Been sick as shit for the last week or longer so this was basically my first day back on her. Got her posed except for the staff, and ready for marvelous.
And maybe that way anyone with a monitor wider than 600px can see the images in a proper resolution without having to lightbox.

How much are you planning to handle in substance?
Material wise this seems like it will be pretty straightforward so Im wondering if you'll be trying to tackle all the skin in Substace.
Congrats on the 3dtotal award by the way, I saw earlier but I was too sick at the time to track you down and say: well deserved.
And thanks for the congrats man. Happy Youre still amonst the living too
Got the animal in place,
Similar thing with the tiger, I did the sculpt to feel it out, but had to adjust the proportions etc. quite a bit. Then I went back and redid the base-mesh symmetrical sculpt with more detail and accuracy, and also being mindful of the proportion adjustments that I made to the original sculpt, and then reposed it.
Thanks Lee I appreciate it!
